Repopularizing VS

VS is dying, who are we kidding. It is not going anywhere other than south. We need to grow it back into light. Other games are over running it....

We are going to need a few things...

1. Someone with a high connection rate and a free computer (come on gurus, show your stuff, who has the fastest internet and a free computer capable of running GHost to the extreme?)

2. Another cd-key for that person.

3. Spam hosting on USWest. (I MEAN UBER SPAM! We can set up the bot in EVSS channel [I is second in command with EVSS, USWest official clan... Greg is in it too...] so the players can give it a command to run the game over and over again without you having to manage it yourself)

4. (If you want garena to become more used for vs:) SaMmM, put in a trigger in your next map update explaining Garena to players, just on the side during the first minute. This will increase garena and our gameplay.

I don't know how else to explain it... If we get the map more populated, it will increase in notoriety... good for any map all and all. Also, the more players you get, the more of a chance you can use them to become even more productive, cranking out new maps with the VS seal? I don't know, but you are going to get something good from doing this.

I am on now. I had to do some things that would set me for life. So now I am all done XD I am now more on than I ever was. You are just on to clock time for XFIRE >.< And you just sit there for hours on end too.. cheater!

I don't have to be logged on to clock time for Xfire. Can you explain 4 for me i don't understand it.

Eh, I am starting to autohost VS. I will use Exsang's bot to also. It might help to get my edited map done though. This would be a lot faster.

I do use GHost. I actually use the updated GHost One. It won't let me close anything... tell me if you find a way.

Yes, but on auto host, none of the admins are in game. Meaning no one is there to close. It hosts when I am not there, same with the other shamans. This makes our life easier, but at the same time, I hate the fact that I cannot close slot 12 automatically when it is auto hosting.

I'm hosting on BA / Bored Aussie. Trying to get VS back up in there.

GHost bot CAN autoclose slots. Set it in the map config.

I have a 22mbps internet connection on dual-core 2ghz processor, 3gigsram server that is hosting other games. I may host Vamp speed.

I don't think it is being auto hosted anymore.
