Missiles issues
Well first of all i think missile is very very cheep for what it does, also i think it should be only avalayble at 20 min or 30 min, cause u cant make 2 strength enough walls by that time, so if vamp want to enter a pro human base he could, so overfeed vamp =end game.

there are many places where ppl can spam GM and vamps couldn't even touch xD... i think its a privilege for the humans haha, what i meant is even if the human's base destroyed he still have some extra GM's to spare, but now Gippal this post is for Missile Issues >.< better u make a new thread for Gm probs >.< if not Clue will scold us~

Be smart in constructing your defences. When my opponent is a professional Vampire, I would build 1 ruby wall in front, then a Ruby behind it with 12 Super Gold Mines stacked in between the walls like shown Below;deivo wrote:SaMmM wrote:Which missile? And welcome to the forums.

gr3g, sometimes its not easy to see v3 missile when you have your focus elsewhere.

It basically flies into the air... Just look at vamp when he gets close to your base... If he stops for like 10 seconds he is firing a missile... Missile goes so high you cant see it usually... I just invul 4 seconds after he fires the missile and it lasts long enough for the missile to hit when its invul...

The most annoying thing about missiles is the increased cooldown on reveal. But both from a human and vampire persepective, I like the missiles a lot. They can turn an impossible situation around (just had a particularly bastard mini that kept stealing from me, so by the time heavy walls were up I only had cloak and shield. Still won through some cunning moves which partially involved missiles) and likewise keep human players on their toes. You have to keep an eye on the vamp in late game to make sure you know when he's bought and when he's using a missile (i watch his inventory - when it dissapears, it's prolly fired). This stops the game from becoming boring.
On the other hand I certainly sympathise with people unexpectedly killed by missiles. Had a match once where I got killed by a V3x just around 10 mins into the game, bc the vamp didnt farm anything else. Talk about unexpected. The worst thing is, he proceeded to win the game because the other players (all 5 of them) were too stupid to counter his strategy by a) keeping an eye on him, b) using invul/port, c) buying them before him, d) killing him, since he didnt even have remains on him. That was a sad thing to watch, lemme tell ya...

2. You sound good, but to be knocked out of V3x while knowing it exists is kinda lame... I only got killed by V3x once when I never knew such item existed.

That's what I was talking about all the time, it comes down to the humans who play. Frankly, I didn't expect anybody to be foolish enough to rush a V3x *and nothing else * before I even had a CC, losing 1.7k on the kill and still coming out on top. This stuff happens when you play a game in public battlenet though.

That's what I was talking about all the time, it comes down to the humans who play.
