Simple Vampire Guide

Post by !|cff0000ffClue on Sun Feb 08, 2009 2:17 am

The minimum requirement of this match is, you're alone which means no second ancient.
1. When you spawn, put your research center below the merchants(Demonic Merchant and Black Market/Close enough to use Demonic Gate). Get a boots of speed and a vampire concrid.
2. Then, far sight to your East. Upgrade your chain lightning to lvl 2, and health beam at lvl 1.
3. If there are any players within your far sight that has workers with health 350 or below, chain them #4. If there isn't any, wait for 2:00 game time. Get a grave #5.
4. Buy an urn of dracula and scout the entire map, look for bases with vulnerable workers or wall.
5. Place your grave close to their workers, then chain the workers. It will work mostly on workers with 1350hp or below.
6. Place a grave, and chain every worker possible to death.
7. Get your vampire a teleportation staff and a Dracula Helm, along with a few more graves. Repeat step 6 until Humans trains bear/fang harvesters.
8. Hire an assassin for the time being and send him, along with the ancient vampire, to a targeted base. I would recommend a base with fangs.
9. Use the ancient to distract the Human while your assassin picks off the fang. Repeat this until you get 1k gold, then buy a demonic remain.
10. Freely break into any base with an emerald wall and feed on their gold mines. For bases with strong walls, interrupt them with an assassin to slow down their progress rate. Then pick which path of strategy you would use, depending on the amount of gold you have.

Path of Heart of Blood
11. Depending on the number of feeders, try to take out as many bases as you can until there is nothing left, buy a heart of blood. Break the bases without advance defences(Comet/Oracle).
12. Upon success, you should manage to get a lot of gold from their gold mines. Buy 2 Shields+800. If you have extra, get a Cloak of Dracula.
With a heart of blood, i presume you should know yourself what to do, but i'll still post this.
13. Repeat this to every base and they will soon give up on building a base.
14. Reveal the map with Urn of Dracula and slowly take down 1 by 1 of the Humans with the Soul burn and rings. You may quicken this process with the ancient's chain lightning.

Path of Kitty Claw
11. If you have enough gold to obtain a Kitty Claw with extra golds to buy yourself a shield, then do so. It is much more of a recommendation to use Kitty Claw's strategy, but harder.
12. Break through bases and get enough gold for 2 +800 shields, 2 Kitty Claw and an Immunity Shield(With a permanent Teleportation staff with you just so you don't get trapped and lose).
13. From your equipments, you can freely break into any base and feed on their buildings.
13a. If your opponent has a good base, you should exit it with lvl 100. You can then sell 1 Kitty Claw for an Urn of Dracula to reveal the map.
14. Usage of a mini vamp to hunt down Humans is most useful by equipping it with a Book of Soul Burn and 5 rings.
15. Slowly hunt down the Humans by using your Urn of Dracula for sight extension reveal.

Skills recommended to upgrade;
Chain Lightning is a priority, increase this all the way possible.
Health beam comes after chain.
War Stomp is not highly recommended, but do upgrade it if you feel that you need it.
Critical Strike is strong enough at level 1.
Metamorphosis should be learned as soon as you reach lvl 100, and you can use Urn of Dracula to replace Far sight.

i usually get 2 helm with tele rod and gold ring and urn in early game emerald wall is no problem if upgraded to chryno wall i would just sin in and farm the workers while they aren't looking >.< i prefer farming a GoU rather a Demonic ( in my opinion ) no offense, coz later 1kand 50 sen more u can get a GoG wont be wasting any slots

I do not really understand what you stated, but the players I trained gave me a big trouble now. They know how to mass gold to build a ruby very very quickly and they know anti-V3x and anti-assassin method. It is very troublesome to win them, and I mostly lose to them since they can completely feed me with 0 gold until the end of the game.

actually u can use ur big vamp to tank the comets as u stated the anti sin methods, just distract the humans awhile to get some kills with ur sin. i know it's easier said than done but if u are the human which is inside that base which would u notice more, the big vamp hitting ur wall or ur harvesters

Sweet guide...I only scanned through lol but by the looks of it, it's basic, easy-to-read guide. Useful for those wannabe noob vamps.

Your ancient's distraction will be of waste since your assassins cannot blink even into the base since he fills the outer wall with gold mines and the inner sides with ultra research centers.

Simple to put it, at 5 minute the base will be completely covered with Super Gold Mines, with ultra research center built to prevent any long range teleportation into the base. I had trouble surpassing that single apprentice of mine too... he was too good @.@

Then good luck sending a shade near his base lo~~ By 1.15 he will have his Wall of Seeing near his door already. AND HIS ANTI-ASSASSIN STARTS FROM 1.30. The only chance to enter is when he changes slayer tavern to Ultra Research Center, but there is only 1% of getting pass since his base is rigged with Wall of Seeing and Comets...

The graves never stack, even from the 1st version of Vampirism Speed. Damage increases when range of grave is closer, and your question depends on the distance of their worker from the closest graving spot. Some places can even kill furbolg at 4250 hp.
