Introduction:
This is a project started by SaMmM that aims to collect accurate information on various aspects of the Vampirism Speed Map.

This project will become a Brief Encyclopedia for Vampirism Speed.

Forums members are also welcome to provide input to help build up the database.

Only sensible and accurate input will be accepted and added into the Encyclopedia.

2. Related to Vampirismspeed/wc3 Short-forms and Nicknames


1. Vamp = Vampire
2. conc = vampiric concoction
3. invul = invulnerable
4. dmg = damage
5. gg tower = the end tower
6. hp = hitpoints
7. mp = mana points
8. noob = a person that does not play the game well
9. deto = detonate (Used for referring to the detonation of harvesters to prevent vampire from killing them)
10. urc = ultra research center
11. urn = Urn of Dracula
12. v3x = v3x missile
13. v3 = v3 missile
14. feeder = A person that contributed to the opposing team's riches. This is commonly used to refer to an ally that does not know how to wall up or detonate units and then resulting in making the opponent stronger.
15. sphere = sphere of doom
16. gm = gold mine
17. twr = tower
18. AoE = area of effect
19. exp or xp = experience points
20. pump = giving a teammate your resources to make him stronger
21. pool = (Same definition as pump)
22. chain = chain lightning
23. zap = chain lightning
24. lagger = a person that has a slow computer/internet connection
25. feed = something that contribute to the opposing team's riches
26. rape = This is often used in phrases after killing a opposing team unit or winning the game. *example : I raped you last game, my vamp was uber.
27. own = This is often used in phrases after killing a opposing team unit or winning the game. *example : I owned you last game, my vamp was uber.
28. pwn = This is often used in phrases after killing a opposing team unit or winning the game. *example : you got pwn by me last game, you totally suck!
29. meat = meat carrier
30. car = meat carrier




3. What is "La, liao, lah, lor, leh, le"?


Often you may hear people using these words in vampirism speed games.
And you may wonder what are these words?

All of the above "words" are classified as Singlish.

Definition of Singlish: the English language as it is spoken in Singapore.

It is often Singapore and Malaysia players that uses Singlish.



4. Magic Immunity

If a target is magic immune, it will take no spell damage whatsoever, and fairy fire/mana burn can not be casted onto the unit.

The only spell that can be casted onto on a magic immune unit is the Ensnare Ability from Slayers.

It is important to note that magic immunity protects you from return damage by spike walls.


5. Evasion


Evasion never stacks. And i mean NEVER.
Buying two mask of death is NOT going to give you 100% evasion, it never stacks, period.
It remains at 50% evasion no matter how many masks you get.

6. Truesight

Truesight allows the player and its allies to see invisible units.

In VampirismSpeed you can attain TrueSight in a few ways:
1. (Ability) FarSight - Vampires have the Farsight Ability that allows the vampire to reveal a portion of the map. Reveals invisible units.
2. (item) Master Vampire Slayer Vest - Grants the true sight ability
3. (item) Urn of Dracula - Has the ability to reveal the entire map. Reveals invisible units.
3. (Structure)Wall of Seeing have the true sight ability
4. (Structure) Base of Operations - Base of Operations has the ability to Reveal the entire map. Reveals invisible units.
4. (Structure) Command Centre - Command Centre has the ability to Reveal the entire map. Reveals invisible units.

7. Invisibility

Invisibility conceals and hides the unit.
Invisible Units can be seen with TrueSight

In VampirismSpeed you can attain Invisibility in a few ways:
1. (Item) cloak of shadows - Grants the item holder permanent passive Invisibility
2. (Item) dracula cloaks - Grants the item holder permanent passive Invisibility
3. (Ability) Wind Stealth - Mini-Vampires have the Ability Wind Stealth to turn invisible temporally.


8. Limitations of Structures and Units

In Vampirism Speed, there are some units that have a limitation on how many of it you can have.

These are a few examples of the units and structures that are limited:
Wall of Health
Gold Mines

Please note that the limitation only limits the specific type of structure or unit.
For example:
The limitation on Wall of Health is 2. Meaning you can only build 2 wall of Health.
But in actual fact, you are allow to build 2 wall of health of different levels.

Meaning you can have all of this:
lvl 1 Wall of Health x 2
lvl 2 Wall of Health x 2
lvl 3 Wall of Health x 2
lvl 1 Super Wall of Health x 2
lvl 2 Super Wall of Health x 2
And so on...

The same goes for the limitations on Gold mines.
It is said that you only can have a maximum of 200 gold mines.
That statement is somehow both true and false.
In actual fact, you can have 200 gold mines of each specific type.

Meaning you can have all of this:
"White"Gold Mine x 200
"Yellow" Gold Mine x 200
"Green" Gold Mine x 200
"Red" Gold Mine x 200
And so on...



9. Ability of Fairy Fire Wall

Facts about the Fairy Fire Wall:
1. The fairy fire wall can be upgraded from a wall of health.
2. The fairy fire wall has the ability to reduce its target armor and grant sight of it for 7.5 seconds.
3. It has a maximum of 6 levels.
4. Fairy Fire can only be casted onto enemy units.
5. Fairy Fire cannot be casted onto units that has Magic immunity.
6. Fairy Fire Ability that are casted onto a unit does not stack. If you casted the ability two times on the vampire, the reduction of armor will not stack or add up.

[size=150]Information on the Fairy Fire Ability on different levels of the Fairy Fire Wall:[/size]
level 1: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 30 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s
level 2: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 60 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s
level 3: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 120 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s
level 4: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 240 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s
level 5: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 480 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s
level 6: Reduce armor of targeted unit by 960 for 7.5s - Grants vision of targeted unit for 7.5s



10. Displacement of Unit when teleporting to between walls

This happens when a Vampire teleports to a unit that is between walls.

The Vampire gets placed into the base because of warcraft III pathing problems.




11. Loss of control issues


Unexpectedly, a Vampire may suddenly loss control over its unit.
The cause is still to be confirmed.

Below are theories that are yet to be confirmed:
Theory from halle04: cause for uncontrollable vamp is when a slayer poop right infront of the vamp AND I MEAN REALLY FACE TO Face.

Styx Mine?? If i'm not wrong, i recalled 2 days ago when i was playing vamp speed i aslo saw a demon gold mine, tht is exist too, right?

about the point 10. Displacement of Unit when teleporting to between walls, it's not very accurate, you could explain how it works and how to counter it :p

How it works when your on a slop going up or down and the unit you tp to is close to where you whant to go because the way you whant to go is closer it will maek you go there.

To counter you build multiple towers around 3 rows going back or a wall of seeing to kill them Note last part only in some maps

That's how it works when there is no slope. When there is a slope, it's a bit more complicated and you can hardly counter by building stuff behind your wall.

dealing with slopes u must cover all the land which is not the same level as vamp until it comes to same level again. for same level ground the vamp cant teleport in so u can jus cover with 1 wall behind your main wall
