Dear creators,

I just finished playing a game with a guy named "god". He was able to create any dinosaur, kill anything and even create things which I've never seen before. By my post.... No one will believe me. So I will post pics and the replay soon enough. Anyway, first I'd like to make some suggestions:

SECTION 1) The re-balance of classes:
A) A survivor should only be able to get access to class ultimate if it's their first specialty choice.
-----EX: You cannot build an "Obliterator" unless mechanic is your 1st class choice.

Therefore, please consider the following:
1) Biologist : You cannot use hulk potion unless you pick biologist first.
2) Mechanic : Cannot get an Obliterator unless you pick mechanic first.
3) Poacher : Cannot have access to Tier 2 weapons and Bombs unless it's 1st pick. (Will clarify what T2 is in the next section.)
4) Physicist : Cannot build laser sentry towers unless you pick physicist first.

*Also consider the specialty walls and physicist super tower and anything else that sounds like it should be pure specialty.*

SECTION 2) Buffing/reworking the poacher class

Every class in the game can stand alone and win, with the exception of the poacher class. Why? The cost with their guns, ammo and things in general is high. Furthermore, being a poacher does not increase overall survival. (Unless you are inside well built base.)

Therefore, please consider the following:
1) 1st specialty poachers will have access to an upgrade (Their ultimate) which increases all weapon damage by 50%. [T2 weapons)
2) When picking a poacher first, their survivor will automatically gain a few upgrades and some basic essentials. (Read further to know what they are and please read the whole post before saying imbalanced.)

3) Poacher weapons should be more diverse:
-----A) Handgun - No changes.
-----B) Shotgun - Reduce the shot range and make it 250 AOE splash damage. (Useful for early game defense.)
-----C) Machine gun - The gun will auto fire at one target until the target dies. Each bullet deals 75 damage. The gun has a 30 second cooldown AFTER the last bullet has fired.
-----D) Assault Rifle - No change.


4) Poacher class should automatically gain the weapon after the research with one clip of bullets. The gun shop should should be used for other players that would like to purchase a gun from their shop or for ammo purchase. The gun should cost the same as the research and only be store shop after the research. Furthermore, the amount of clips for purchase available should be reduced to balance this overall effect.

5) Also, you should have to research in this order: Handgun, Shotgun, Machine Gun, Assault Rifle.

SECTION 3) Boosting the start of the game.

It's rather simple, for a 1st time specialization only, each class in the game should get something, so things can get moving.

Therefore, please consider the following:
1) Biologist : Gain 2 baby velociraptors and 1 organic.
2) Mechanic : Gets 1 military jeep , 200 gas, starter mounted gun. (10 damage, 600 range gun)
3) Poacher : Survivor Gets +50hp, +3 armor, a hand gun, 1 clip of bullets and +5g per dino kill.
4) Physicist : Gets 1 sentry tower, 1 laboratory. (In inventory as item)

*For anything that they get on start, that research should also be complete*

SECTION 4) Boosting the difficulty / game play changes.

This game is really fun however, I wish it were harder.

Therefore, please consider the following:
1) Add in the "other nests." such as allosaurus and t-rex.
2) Large insects such as Giant mosquito and Scarabs should be added:
-----A) Giant mosquito - A super large mosquito that targets only survivors.
-----------Doesn't die from insect poison. Needs reg attacks to kill it.
-----B) Giant Scarab - A large prehistoric insect which attack in groups. (groups of 3 at least.)
-----------They come from insect an nest, like dino nest.
----------They are extremely resistant to all damage.
----------They patrol around the map and once find a base, keep attacking it.

3) Increase the frequency of allosaurus attacks in general.
4) Increase the frequency of large t-rex and large allosaurus on harder difficulties.
5) Consider using the "Prehistoric" T-rex on the hardest difficulty level in the last 5-10 minutes of the game.
6) No more automatic helicopter timer:
-----A) Players must go around the map and find various pieces of a communicator and assemble them together to call the helicopter.
-----B) Once called, the helicopter will come in 10-20-30 minutes depending on difficulty level.
-----C) Once used, dino attacks will become more frequent and tougher.


SECTION 5) Other Balance Changes.

These are things in general which I believe should be balanced out:
1) Reduce the cost of specialty walls and the physicist super special tower.
-----A) These are fun and unique but really impractical to use in the game.
2) Move the ability to build a bunker from mechanic to poacher.
3) Allow only one bunker max to be built.
4) Reduce the cost of the physicist computing facility. Allow it to increase income by 1G per second instead. Allow only 1 max and only if physicist is 1st pick.
5) Lower the initial cost cost of camping supplies.
6) Change some of the bases to include room for 2 people to build together. Tired of seeing nubs fight over a base or people that want to base together but there isn't enough room all the time.

I think that's all.

Thank You for making such a great remake of Jurassic Park, and I hope you read my suggestions and consider them.

I do not usually play Jurassic Park but what he was doing was using cheats. If you are on Battle.Net he was using the name God as a spoof so he would not be known who he was. You should just delete the map and re-download the official map.

He was playing it off the hosting bot. How can he be using cheats? I will post the replay. He claimed to be the original creator and know SAMMM

Just because he is hosting off of a host bot, it does not mean the game is not hacked.

Okay to clarify, he was not the owner of the bot. He was not the host. He was not red. It was the official host bot on US east and I was playing as teal. So I ask, How can someone hack the game without hacking the map? These features are obviously in the map and he either looked into the JASS or already knew of their existence because he is the true creator. Okay enough already. Decide for yourself.

His name actually appeared as perfectlyinsane. When he typed it showed as God.
BTW, you should probably load the reg map and read the about in the information...

Well thankyou for the feedback. BTW, I just want to let you know that perfectlyinsane is the original creator for the open source jurassic park map. I really want to get him to post here... Even then, I'm not sure people would be believe me.

Haha just downloaded and watched that replay. Very amusing Razz. At least 'God' wasn't overly whimsical with his power - I couldn't help but laugh when I saw what was going to happen to red Very Happy.

Interesting things I noted was when he used some of his commands, such as killing things, he bound them to keys to make them easier to use, as shown in the message "-kill was bound to the up arrow key". At one point I also noticed "Decoding failed". And of course he had global LOS, invulnerability, general godliness etc.

Still he seemed like a nice enough guy and even commented on how well the Allosaurus was constructed. I'm now on the lookout for those 'secrets' he mentioned.

In regards to your suggestions, I applaud most of them. I especially like the variety you add to the weapons. And I agree with you that the poacher needs something to buff him up rather than just going Biologist too - maybe some kind of suit or something. And once again to reiterate what a fun map this is, well done to all the creators. Very Happy
