Pickaxe Vamp Item

It seems like every game the Vamp will use the pickaxe on gold mines and use the sphere to get in. I find this incredibly irritating as you can't really prevent this without double-stacking mines. I thought that mines were supposed to prevent blinking in from happening, but they don't with this item in the game.

I realize that it may be something that Vampire's have to use to get into a base for feed, but still it's a really cheap item.

Here's what would make it more fair. If you made the Elite Gold mines Spell Immune since they are the last mines, or if you made the pick axe cost more than 850 gold. Generally in a game with a lot of pubs its barely possible to hold a Vampire back from killing your wall, but this item makes it really really difficult to be a human.

Umm... I think that many would agree... It is not hard at all to protect your base with even 3 or 4 stacked on top of each other even with the base like top right or mid bottom. Those are two of the biggest bases that you have to wall like that.

No, Greg i dun think Pros/Intermediates wouldn't agree with you. How hard to double stack or even triple stack the gold mines? its all for protecting your base, if you cant even does these little things how could you possibly saying Pickaxe is imba? it cost 850, and its 1 time usage and it can just hit like 3 mines, if 1 wrong mistake for vamp he cant even get back the 850 he spend on that thing

Agree with Alvin =.= Pickaxe is not really imba at all, if wan say imba, that would be Unholy Grave, Some of the vamp know use Unholy Grave they will build and use their ownself Vampire to stand on the Unholy Grave there, once the Unholy Grave succesfull build, all of ur tower,Wall or Gold Mines also will broke even got regen for that =)

and 1 more thing, even thou vamp bough pickaxe it cost 850, and it only broke 3 gold mine, as if u're stack 3-4 gold mine on it, the vamp will waste $ not earn it.

Does pick-axe give gold for killing mines? If so, the vamp isn't losing that much-.-

I do see that the item is a little strange... We now have to triple stack all of our areas before the pickaxe gets out. But, that's the beauty of vamp speed. We have to always account for every little item in the game!

nerfing this item is nerfing the vamp, i strongly disagree with topic starter.

i'd say the best thing to do for him is make every game he had ban pickaxe, then there is no longer a problem.

but what has greg already told us, it's the player that adapts, not the game.

I actually havent seen this item yet(I did not make it, I did however make the V3 missile)...but if it does exist I believe it should be nerfed just a bit so that it only destroys 1 building and is made cheaper.

erm dumbassking, if you have read the description i have posted, you would understand that ITEM has already been NERFED enough, it is meant to used on goldmines except Diamond Mines, 3 little goldmines would be destroy with an item cost 850, if the goldmines are stacked that item would be a useless thing. FYI the main problem would still be nerfing the humans at late game, as Clone Says after 30+ minutes he dun care vamp is LVL 100 or with full Tigers, he still could settle the vamp.
PS: breaking 1 building(goldmine) aint got space enough for the vamp to blink, 3 goldmines stacked vertically or horizontally only could do the trick, and also it randomly hits 3 target(goldmines)

its not possible to stop a vamp from breaking in to ur base if he just has 4 kittys, mask of undeath/insanity and magic immunity, and not lvl 100...it would take them 5 hits to kill a max-upgraded ultimate wall. This has been proved, i had 3 ultimate walls and the vamp broke in, with about half hp left. I had about 30 lvl 3 super comets and oracles with auto-homing missiles, 2 lvl 3 super walls of health and a lvl 6 faerie fire wall (though it had no effect).
