Humans grabbing items

Post by mamangan on Sun Dec 06, 2009 5:55 pm

Apparently, never have I experienced as a vamp where humans snatch graves and other item consumables which totally renders an unfed vamp useless.

So does anyone think item grabbing is worth it?

Is there a way for a vamp to win even though unfed and can't grab item consumables to win? Only item that vamp can buy is urn or golem, golem easily killed by slayer(s).

Apparently at the start, graves can be grabbed by slayers while you try roaming around and try to kill other humans.

So I was thinking of spam clicking it would be the best way to get a grave, but if also humans do that, luck is what is needed to get one.

Look at my first post, a slayer(s) can kill an inferno in no time.

There has to be a feeder in a game, which you can chain lighting.

Get a cloak and claw of dreadlord. Some people won't build walls of seeing so early.

Well the very fact that there is atleast one feeder in one of the many games we can have, but if it comes to a point the feed you had is not considerable as feed, I think humans are the winners already.

Thats why the game isn't very balanced right now.

The humans has the upper hand.

Well maybe to make it balanced in a way, until so the first chain of the vamp is released and finished, that would only be the only time when humans can upgrade worker hp.

I think I also saw a topic about it in the suggestions, quite old though.

So are you saying that the vamp will only get 16 worker kills?

Thats 16 x 5 = 80 gold.

Why not just give vamp 1 gold every 1 second?

But with that 16 kills vamp may level up into 7-9 and can give chain more damage. That allows the vamp to chain even hp upgraded workers.

And yeah I forgot the slayer killer build, for those who think rushing slayers is a good idea. Max crit then one stomp and pawn a slayer.

Edit: I think gold earned from work is better rather than just standing there.

Well, if a vamp waits for income and gets a claw of dreadlord, and the vamp is good at using it (conc + Health Beam). He can get into a base easily and take the feed inside.

However if the human is as good as the vamp in stopping CoD, then the vamp wouldn't be able to get in.

So you are telling me with such pathetic stats at level 3, you are using CoD? A wise human with a fast hand movement will just ensnare the vamp until CoD wears off or use invul, and humans should have at least 3 layers of wall though.

But in any success of getting that emerald wall, 100-200 gold doesn't seem much of a feed for all that waiting.

I don't understand what you're arguing for.

There are counters to every item vamp has.

Are you going to say them as i mention each item?

I would say, the game is too much on human side Razz

I stopped playing for almost a whole year and just played back a couple of days ago. I have to say, nowadays there will be 6 humans who will feed u nothing but comet balls, giving the vampire a hard time in the game. It took me 3 hours to figure out of a strategy that works if all enemy are really good, but it doesn't work on all players.

Hope that the vampire could be strengthened.

I think a better point is that statements like

lawl wrote:The humans has the upper hand.

are a waste of time. We will argue it forever.

Back on topic:

There is 1 reason why humans should not be able to buy vamp items;
Killing the stock. If a human has enough gold to constantly purchase kitty klaws, the vamp cannot obtain them, yes? This exploit must be removed.

Perhaps this is a new addition to version d? I remember that this was not the case.

The argument still stands for any other item that can lose stock.

well I think only consumables deserve such stocking thing. I mean gauntlets of the underworld still goes in cooldown maybe because it is a part of other 3 items? CoD also has cooldown, well that is a balancing part. In the other hand, sphere of doom which I consider the strongest item before minute 3, also has cooldown, I don't know any reason though.

I think its because gauntlets are from vamp fire, and there is a cooldown then.
I don't see why any items with passive effects should have cds.

But this is vamp speed, I mean even though a kitty claw is much powerful than the gauntlet?

About the missiles, I think it shares cooldown for organic and building type, better have this fixed?
