The End Tower remake

Given normal conditions, a mix of pro, decent, noob, and newb players as humans and a well fed vamp, the best way to win as human is to build The End. But even when it is built, there is still the chance for a vamp to destroy it and still win. So here is my remake:

At the beginning of the game, there would be a small island in the middle of the map where no one can get inside it. When the 20th minute mark is reached the endgame tower will spawn in the island and can kill any unit in one hit but will only have a range of 1. Now the thing to make it really work is to buy upgrades to increase its range till it gets map wide range.

In order to have it upgraded, a slayer or main worker must come close to it and upgrade the towers range.

Total cost would be 250k gold(the same as the original cost).

I wont be giving any figures yet because I want to hear or see what others would say about this.

So after a few upgrades, the vamp will not be able to return to his base?

Well if you would be able to build the end, he can't go anywhere.

I was thinking of scaling the range improvements like 10,50,500, map wide. The island I'm telling should have 490 aoe, so when a vamp gets too close it dies even the end is not fully upgraded.

Prices should be 25000,50000,75000,100000 gold, a total of 250k gold.

True, if you build the end he can't go anywhere.

But the end is 250k, and "after a few upgrade" is less than 250k.

You just buffed the human.

That aside, you're suggesting that the tower should have 100% chance to kill the vamp?

Well in order to upgrade the tower to be really called The End, humans would need to have someone go near it and then upgrade.

The thing is that a vamp would be guarding the place, shades around ready to be teleported at and maybe summoning a lich and giving it blast staff to instakill slayers. So the end won't be an easy thing to have.

Also I was thinking of another aoe which silences any unit that goes near it, meaning humans coming close to it for an upgrade can't blink out instantly, they have to walk out the aoe first before thay can blink out, but the vamp not being affected. But this is very optional.

And yeah it would kill the vamp in the very time it launches the rocket and hits the vamp. Vamp conco would still be able to dodge it though.

If you're going to add so much things, i'd prefer the current The End.

The only thing that needs changing imo is the model.

I think the current model is already good, I mean a haunted ship shooting rockets, that's cool.

My point is simply to make The End more balanced and when you finally have it, then humans must win. It is The End, so the game must end.

Another point is that, being an invulnerable unit, it must cost something to balance it more, so making it harder for humans to obtain it rather than pure farming to achieve it.

In conclusion, a better The End, the harder to get.

If the game must end, then the game would automatically end after you build the tower.

If you really want to balance The End, give vamp a similar item. Like if you activate it turns vamp into a 9k range unit, with a slow attack and projectile speed.

I think any Vamp in level 100 with the best items can destroy any base unless The End is built, and having that I think that is already balanced but not in the part that makes it into a paradox. The End not able to end the game?

And giving a counter to that isn't making the game any balanced. It's like the other thread back in the old forums, a counter to the end then a counter to the counter to the end?

No, humans can still win with a level 100 vamp and full items.

30 end game comet towers will lag and defeat the vamp.

If we build 30 level 3 endgame tower that is 30x(50+500+1000+2000)=106500 gold. If there are these 3 players with such amount of gold, I think they better go sharing money and build the end.

But another issue here is who is gonna control it. That is another point in my remake, teamwork is forced to be made in order to defeat the vamp. There wouldn't be any fighting on who's gonna make it and control it.

But if you're the only player remaining, you wouldn't be sitting there waiting for a 250k gold for an end game tower when the vamp is level 100 and well fed. You'd be spamming the comets in your base.

Well, you can put an island in the middle of the map, and make it a one time upgrade to 9k range (250k gold). I haven't been in a game where someone was arguing whether they want to build the end tower.

If it gets being the lone human, better did the dead humans have upgraded The End and you only have to upgrade with a lesser amount.

And insta building it is just plain imba, upgrading is part of balancing it, also The End isn't supposed to be built alone, it should be made from teamwork.

The very number of human slots in the game? On how few human players help repair? It is vamp speed therefore having something should be hell fast that you need to put all your money together to beat a tough vamp? Teamwork?

If people truly understood teamwork, they'd pass their gold to another player.

If the tower was placed inside a space where the vamp cannot reach or the tower is invul, you just cut the chance of the vamp of winning.

If The End tower was meant to end the game and give the vamp 0% chance of winning, just make its projectile speed instant. It is this slow for a reason - to give a chance for the vampire to destroy it.

I would say that tower is wrongly named The End, because it can't end the game.

Maybe my suggestion should just have been changing it's name, like Doom Tower or One hit KO tower.

I think The End is a wonderful name.

It isn't called "The End Game" tower, so it can mean that it will end you as soon as it hits.

I think the word "end" is what makes it paradoxical in a sense. I really do not advised to use such a word if chances of ending the game isn't 100%.

Ok? Simple use of vamp concotion totally fucks up the tower.

My real suggestion is to make the tower fit its name, but rather it should be making the name fit the towers capabilities.

With that, I may say that your strat fails in the purpose of even making the end. More likely that you should have removed the part of making the end and just lag the vamp to death.

Just tell me now a reason on why the tower deserves the name, else the tower itself must change.

I don't find any logic with what you said. It's like telling the end of the world, no one can stop that.

And with the evasion, I think humans has the upgrade to ingore evasion.
