chainlighting bug Empty chainlighting bug

Everytime i chainlight something it seems only to work as long as farsight is active... i dunno if this is a bug but i thought i would bring it up...
usually chain lightnig kills 15 ppl if farsight comes of chainlighting stops attacking

yes that happend to me also xD, u only kill them if u can see them xD (graves works ok)

Fog of war.. You should make sure farsight is still active or keep sight of the area you are CLing. I'm not sure if this is a bug though

Sam changed it so you had to have sight to Chain them, I think.

I'm not 100% sure but,
Its hardcoded in the warcraft III engine that chain lightning targets needs to remain in your sight.
Dota zeus chain lightning spell works the same, you may test it.

Its easy to address this issue by creating a visibility circle around the area of chain lightning being cast.
However, i might just leave it the way it is now.

True. It is in Warcraft III that you must have your target in your sight because it is counted auto-select skill. It is like you chain lightning a unit, then that skill of yours attacks another mob, but if you cannot see a target, so can't the chain lightning.
